This document describes how the site as built actually behaves, which makes it a sound starting point. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it does not yet account for the jurisdictions Horizon Yachting S.A.M. would operate in. Have counsel check it before this site accepts a single real enquiry.

Disclosure — what is illustrative

This site is a build. Read this section before treating anything on it as fact.

  • Horizon Yachting S.A.M. is a fictional firm. The company name, founding date, office addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and social profiles are placeholders.
  • The fleet is fictional. Vessel names, specifications, prices, charter rates, ownership histories, flags and locations are invented for demonstration.
  • The photographs are of real yachts — but they are not the yachts described beside them, and nothing shown should be taken as a representation about any real vessel or its owner.
  • The testimonials are invented, as are the transaction statistics quoted on the homepage and the sale page.
  • No professional-body membership, licence, registration or accreditation is claimed or held.

Photography

Fleet, interior and destination photography is sourced from Unsplash and used under the Unsplash License, which permits commercial use without attribution. Per-file photo identifiers are recorded in public/img/ATTRIBUTION.md in the repository.

Representative crew photography is sourced from Pexels and used under the Pexels License. The people pictured are models, not the named crew, and are not affiliated with or endorsing the firm. Photographer and source-page credits are recorded alongside the other image credits.

The homepage hero is video footage from Pexels, used under the Pexels License, which permits commercial use without attribution. It has been trimmed, colour-graded and re-encoded, and the loop point crossfaded.

The vessel in our social sharing image is a photograph whose background was removed locally using Apple's Vision framework. The Unsplash License permits this modification.

Typefaces and software

Set in Playfair Display and Inter, both served under the SIL Open Font License. Built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Motion and Lenis.
